Jonathan Yeo

Jonathan Yeo (b. 1970) is a British artist, known for both traditional and experimental portraiture, who recently unveiled celebrated paintings of HM King Charles III and Sir David Attenborough. Yeo’s work has been exhibited widely in museums and galleries worldwide, including a mid-career retrospective, which started at London’s National Portrait Gallery in 2013 and toured to other UK museums in 2014-15. Subsequent exhibitions include the Museum of National History in Denmark, Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery in Washington DC, Royal Academy of Arts in London and The Bowes Museum in County Durham. Yeo also founded the Soho House Art Collection, has been trustee of the National Portrait Gallery since 2018 and was named GQ Magazine’s artist of the year.
