3 WISHES 4 EVER is a series of three screenprints by Harland Miller, based on the artist’s Letter Paintings. Miller’s layering of letters in a palette of bright pinks, soft blues and strong reds is counterbalanced by bands of neutral colour bearing the author/artist’s name. His graphic rendering of the typography is offset by the painterly language of 1950s abstraction, visible at the lower edge of the images. Miller describes the narrative of the editions as “like wishing for a desire”.
